This page is meant to bring together all the available information on writing and debugging a device driver in BeOS. Right now, the resources are a bit thin, but that is a symptom of the ever-changing BeOS and the relatively small user base.
In the future, I hope to have a FAQ and perhaps a tutorial. For now, there are two or three drivers out there with sample code. BeOS DR8 includes the S3 graphics driver source code on the CD and there is a network card driver available below.
