My parents came to Austin recently and here's some pictures we took. First off, Becky and I went to Washington on the Brazos 2 hours east of Austin to see the wildflowers and see the place where Texas declared its independence from Mexico. As soon as we got back to Austin, my parents arrived and we went straight to dinner at The Oasis, a restaurant on Lake Travis famous for its sunset views.
The next day we went to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center to show my parents the Texas wildflowers. The rest of the day was spent driving around Austin neighborhoods looking for houses in my quest to buy a home soon.
